The Sibillini Mountains, thanks to the particular pedoclimatic conditions, are home to more than a thousand species of flora , such as the Apennine edelweiss, anemone, martagon lily, bear grapes and numerous specimens of orchids . The species of fauna are also different and peculiar: the wolf, the wild cat, the Marsican brown bear, roe deer and chamois, as well as about 150 species of birds.
